After using Yawos with gratitude, as it works really well, it started to play dirty today...

The plasmoid keyboard resizes continiously, to full-screen and then very small. Resizing is possible, but because of lag very cumbersome. I cannot find something on the internet on it.

Now it seems strange that it has worked so well these past months!

...have you tried to simply reboot your WeTab?

Otherwise: let's hope, that streifi will have a look at your post and your problem... ;-)

Mhh... Strange :(

If you do not have made any changes to KDE settings, you can copy the default YaWOS-customized KDE configurations.

Very simple:
  • Open a Terminal (konsole)
  • cd ~
  • mv .kde .kde_sick
  • cp -av /etc/skel/.kde ~

Reboot your tab (and hope, that KDE will not save the defect settings to the recovered .kde folder).

If you want to do it with 100% success:
  • Connect a USB Keyboard
  • Press "STRG+ALT+F1"
  • Login with username "root" and password "yawos" (if not work: username "yawos", password "yawos" then "sudo su" and type in "yawos" at requested password)
  • Now you should see somethin like "root@......~/ #"
  • service kdm stop
  • cd ~yawos
  • mv .kde .kde_sick
  • cp -av /etc/skel/.kde /home/yawos/
  • reboot now

Thanks! Rebooting didn't help, but after yesterday my keyboard hasn't changed any more. It is appr. 10% smaller then it used to be, but functional. I'll keep it this way, I will fix it only when it is really broken.

By the way: Yawos is my main OS on the Wetab, though I have Android 3.2 running well. Yawos is more powerfull, with Flash and full browsers. I can miss alomst every app, when an optimized version of Firefox is available. Thnx!
